Special Needs

Inclusion – Temple Beth-El

Temple Beth-El offers alternative classroom options for those students who need a more individualized approach to learning. Religious School faculty are educated to the needs of children with special needs. In addition, curriculum modifications, one-to-one teenage teaching assistants, and other arrangements are made where needed. They work with each family to create a successful educational experience for every child.

Inclusion – Temple Sholom

Temple Sholom's Inclusion Committee promotes the full inclusion, appreciation, and participation of members of all abilities in the spiritual, educational, celebratory, and life events at the synagogue.  The temple has a space with quiet activities for use during High Holidays and other large congregational events, and hearing amplification units for use in the sanctuary. Services are provided for learners with all abilities for formal and informal education programming.
