JFS Case Management includes supportive counseling, problem solving, caregiver support, resource information and linkage to community services as needed. <link>

Senior Family Mentor Program

JFS -
A volunteer visitation program matching trained and caring community volunteers with homebound, frail seniors for weekly home visits. A social worker provides case management services to the older adult and supervises the volunteers who make a year commitment to the program.

Holocaust Survivor Programs – JFS

Café Europa - a social group for Holocaust survivors. Café Europa offers speakers, discussions, and entertainment, giving its members an opportunity to meet new people with similar backgrounds and providing a setting for them to share stories, experiences, and concerns. For more information, or to register, contact Jewish Family Service at 908-725-7799. Holocaust Survivor Assistance Program - services include home health care, companion services, mental health counseling, and case management services. Jews living in New Jersey, who resided in European countries that were subject to Nazi rule and control between 1933 and 1945, are eligible for assistance.

Senior Lunches at the JCC

Senior Lunches at the JCC - Wednesdays 12 - 2 pm. Enjoy a delicious Kosher lunch, entertainment, topical discussions, and conversation. For reservations, please call 908-443-9018 to reserve your spot. Lunch served at 12 pm, followed by Program at 1 pm. Fee: $7.00, $5.00 for JCC Members.

Senior Fitness Classes

Senior Fitness Classes at the JCC - includes Aqua Fitness, Chair Yoga, Fitness Boxing, Cardio Circuit, Strength and Fall Prevention, Silver Vibe, and Zumba Gold.

Renaissance – Beth-El

Renaissance (Temple Beth-El, Hillsborough) - for congregants 50 years old and up who delight in sharing the joys of Judaism, the culture of our region, and the company of other mature Jewish members of the community. Outings have included visits to the lower East Side of Manhattan, museums, gardens, ballgames, the theater, and meals at local restaurants.

Kehilat Shalom – Active Seniors

Empty Nesters Social Group (Kehilat Shalom, Belle Mead)  - monthly cultural and fun activities include visits to museums, restaurants, potlucks, etc.

Wilf Transport 

Wilf Transport  (part of the Wilf Campus for Senior Living) is a community transportation providing curb-to curb transportation to keep seniors active and mobile. If necessary, door-to-door service can be provided when arranged in advance. The program provides assisted nonmedical, social, and quality-of-life transportation for seniors and individuals with special needs who are over the age of 18, living in their homes or at assisted living facilities throughout the community.

Wilentz Senior Residence

Wilentz Senior Residence  (part of the Wilf Campus for Senior Living) offers tenants the privacy of their own apartments, the peace of mind of a secure, staffed senior housing building, and the convenience and fun of many on-site residential living services and activities. Wilentz is a HUD-subsidized residence open to anyone who is at least 62 years or older or requires the special features of handicapped-accessible units for the mobility impaired.
